Software for Houston companies that operate on both sides

iTech Dev Corp builds systems for Houston companies with operations in Mexico or trade with Mexico: import and export, logistics, distribution and light manufacturing. We are a Texas entity, we invoice in USD and contracts go under U.S. law, with the engineering team in Monterrey in your time zone. But if your operation is entirely U.S.-based and you only need accounting, local vendors are cheaper and one of them suits you better. Where we are hard to replace is when the same business has to issue a CFDI on one side and sales tax on the other.

What reaches us from Houston

Houston is where the binational problem shows up most: the port, trade with Mexico, companies with warehouses on both sides and an accountant in each country who does not share a system. The symptom we hear is not technical: nobody knows the real cost of an import until weeks later, when freight, duties and handling arrive.

The three problems we see most

The real cost arrives late

Freight, duties and handling land weeks after the sale. If that is not allocated into product cost, your margin is a guess.

Two books, zero visibility

The Mexican company closes in one system and the Texas one in another. Consolidating is a monthly spreadsheet nobody audits.

Inventory that crosses

The same goods change legal owner when they cross and the system does not reflect it. That is where units and margin go missing.

Questions we get in Texas
